Solution Details

This solution is a complete system from wastewater collection, treatment to agricultural reuse. First, rural domestic wastewater (including washing, feces, kitchen wastewater, etc., known as "four waters collection") is collected through pipelines or channels. The wastewater is then conveyed to the ICWT treatment device, which uses Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology to combine biological treatment units with membrane separation units, efficiently removing organic pollutants, suspended solids, and pathogenic microorganisms from the water.

The treated effluent is clear with good water quality. It is delivered to farmland irrigation systems through pumping or gravity flow, and can be used for water-saving irrigation methods such as drip irrigation and subsurface irrigation, replacing traditional clean water sources.

Case Details

Eryuan County is an important water source area for Erhai Lake, and effective treatment of rural wastewater is crucial for protecting Erhai Lake. OriginWater adopted a combination of centralized and decentralized treatment methods according to the characteristics of village distribution in Eryuan County: centralized sewage treatment plants were built for more densely populated towns and villages, while its self-developed intelligent integrated wastewater purification systems (ICWT) were widely deployed in remote and scattered villages. Through the construction of a comprehensive pipeline network system, efforts were made to achieve "comprehensive coverage and comprehensive collection" of wastewater. All wastewater after treatment meets Class IV surface water standards (high-standard effluent). The treated recycled water can be used for agricultural irrigation, greening, etc., achieving water resource recycling (comprehensive treatment), reducing the total amount of pollutants entering Erhai Lake from the source, and forming the famous "Eryuan Model".
