Intelligent integrated wastewater purification and agricultural reuse system solutions
Rural Wastewater Resource Utilization Irrigation Solution
Solution Overview
The core of this solution is to treat rural domestic wastewater through OriginWater's self-developed intelligent integrated wastewater purification system (ICWT), with effluent quality reaching Class IV surface water standards. The treated water is then utilized for agricultural irrigation, achieving wastewater recycling and saving precious water resources.

Applicable Regions
Water-scarce regions, rural areas, regions lacking traditional irrigation water sources
Applicable Crops
Landscaping plants, economic forest trees, field crops
Solution Details
This solution is a complete system from wastewater collection, treatment to agricultural reuse. First, rural domestic wastewater (including washing, feces, kitchen wastewater, etc., known as "four waters collection") is collected through pipelines or channels. The wastewater is then conveyed to the ICWT treatment device, which uses Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology to combine biological treatment units with membrane separation units, efficiently removing organic pollutants, suspended solids, and pathogenic microorganisms from the water.
The treated effluent is clear with good water quality. It is delivered to farmland irrigation systems through pumping or gravity flow, and can be used for water-saving irrigation methods such as drip irrigation and subsurface irrigation, replacing traditional clean water sources.
Technical Highlights
- 1Advanced Membrane Treatment Technology
Utilizes MBR membrane technology with excellent treatment efficiency and stable high-standard effluent quality suitable for agricultural irrigation.
- 2Intelligent Operation Management
Integrates IoT and cloud platform technologies for remote monitoring, intelligent scheduling, and unattended operation, reducing operational costs.
- 3Modular Design, Flexible and Efficient
Equipment adopts modular design that can be combined according to treatment capacity and water quality requirements, adapting to rural areas of different scales. Equipment can be installed underground or above ground with small footprint and low environmental impact.
- 4Resource Utilization
Combines wastewater treatment with agricultural irrigation, achieving water resource recycling and alleviating agricultural water pressure.
Main Technical Parameters
Application Effects
Resource Utilization
Achieves wastewater recycling, saves precious water resources, and alleviates agricultural water pressure
Typical Case
Eryuan County, Yunnan Province Village Sewage Treatment and Resource Utilization Project
Case Overview
OriginWater adopted its innovative "Three Comprehensives and One High" model (comprehensive coverage, comprehensive collection, comprehensive treatment, and high-standard effluent) in Eryuan County, Yunnan Province. This model effectively treats sewage from towns and villages throughout the county, with the treated recycled water being utilized for resource purposes such as agricultural irrigation, improving the ecological environment of the Erhai Lake water source area.
Implementation Location
Eryuan County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province
Implementation Effects Summary
Environmental Benefits: Significantly reduced pollutant loads entering rivers and lakes, playing a positive role in protecting Erhai Lake water quality.
Case Details
Eryuan County is an important water source area for Erhai Lake, and effective treatment of rural wastewater is crucial for protecting Erhai Lake. OriginWater adopted a combination of centralized and decentralized treatment methods according to the characteristics of village distribution in Eryuan County: centralized sewage treatment plants were built for more densely populated towns and villages, while its self-developed intelligent integrated wastewater purification systems (ICWT) were widely deployed in remote and scattered villages. Through the construction of a comprehensive pipeline network system, efforts were made to achieve "comprehensive coverage and comprehensive collection" of wastewater. All wastewater after treatment meets Class IV surface water standards (high-standard effluent). The treated recycled water can be used for agricultural irrigation, greening, etc., achieving water resource recycling (comprehensive treatment), reducing the total amount of pollutants entering Erhai Lake from the source, and forming the famous "Eryuan Model".
